Miss Tania Azevedo P.A.E.C., B.A.T.D.

Born in Mississauga and raised in Caledon, Tania Azevedo only discovered her passion for dance at the
age of 12-the first time she ever attended a dance class-at Annemarie's Dance Academy in Orangeville, Ontario. After
her first year of B.A.T.D. and R.A.D. training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical and Musical Theatre; Tania was competing both
at the national and international level. In the eight years at Annemarie's Dance Academy, Tania became a certified dance
instructor at the age of seventeen, and has been teaching ever since. Before she was twenty-one years of age, Tania received
a diploma from Georgian College for Business Administration and became the studio owner/principal dance instructor of
Elite Dance Corps in Bradford, Ontario. In its eleventh successful dance season, and after only eight years participating
in competitions, Elite Dance Corps has won various awards, and is recognized as one of the most active participants in various
local community events. Tania's students have gone on to dance with Ballet Jorgen, Canadian National Tap Team, become
certified dance instructors, and attend dance programs at well known Ontario universities. Tania is constantly
strengthening her skills by attending master classes with renowned dance artists and choreographers in all disciplines of
dance. Today, she is a full member with P.A.E.C. and B.A.T.D. Tania is working towards receiving her D.M.A. certification
and has become cerified with the International Academy of Dance Adjudicators and is now a sought after adjudicator for many
dance competitions across Ontario. She is dedicated to continue sharing her talent and passion for dance to all.
Miss Samantha Ippolito B.A.T.D.

Samantha Ippolito began dancing at the young age of three, but always new that teaching dance was her
passion. Following many years as an award-winning competitive dancer, Samantha was accepted into the OIP dance company
in Toronto, Ontario. She has worked with renowned choreographers like Danny Davalos, Heather Leslie, Luther Brown, and
Faye Rauw. A major accomplishment was performing in the Disney Magic Music Days production in Orlando, Florida.
Most recentlly, Samantha became a memeber of the Canadian National Tap Team, winning Gold at the World Dance Championships
in Reisa, Germany. As a certified teacher with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, Samantha has been teaching
for over five years at various studios throughout York Region. Over the years, Samantha has studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet,
Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Hip-Hop. She continues to further her training by attending classes and workshops.
Entering her final year in York University's BFA Dance Program, Samantha hopes to continue her studies by completing a Master
of Fine Arts in Dance Choreography. Samantha is an asset to the EDC teaching staff for the variety of dance knowledge
and dedication that she brings to her class each and every week.
Miss Brittany Bourque P.A.E.C.

At the age of twelve, Miss Brittany Bourque enrolled in her first dance class at Elite Dance Corps. Under
the guidance of Miss Tania and through her High School dance program, she has grown to love dance-so much so that she
has chosen to make it her future career. Currently, Brittany is enrolled in the Business program at Georgian College
in Barrie, Ontario where she is learning all about small business operation; as she one day plans to own and operate a dance
studio of her very own. Attending many dance competitions across Canada, Brittany has come away with various awards
as well as commendable accomplishments in her Royal Academy of Dance exams. While attending college full time, Miss
Brittany Bourque is also training for her teaching certification with the Performing Arts Educators of Canada. She continually
aims to advance her knowledge of dance by attending dance classes at Elite Dance Corps, participating in dance exams, as well
as attending master classes at various conventions in Southern Ontario. With her infectious bubbly personality, Miss
Brittany is adored by her students, parents and co-workers at Elite Dance Corps. PICTURE COMING

Miss Melissa Alexander P.A.E.C.,
Z.I.N.

Born November 15th, 1989, Melissa Alexander began her dance training at the young age of three.
Sixteen years later, Melissa is now a successful student and teacher with many future aspirations. Ballet, Jazz, Tap,
Irish, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and Modern; are among the many disciplines of dance in which Melissa has studied
throughout her dance career. Winning numerous awards and participating in several community performances, Melissa has
gained an admirable reputation in the world of dance. These accomplishments have given Melissa the desire to share her
love and knowledge of dance with others. Melissa is currently a junior instructor at Elite Dance Corps where she
prides herself on havinga class structure of technique and fun! Aspiring to become a certified R.A.D. & P.A.E.C.
Ballet intructor, Melissa continues her own dance training to expand her knowdledge and ability. She looks forward to
teaching her students in the community and gaining new friendships.
